As Metabolic Balance® Coach, one of the criteria to become a Coach is that you have to complete your own bloodwork and follow the program’s meal plan based on the 4 phases. As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, I felt that my eating habits and lifestyles and beliefs where right, but when I started my very own nutritional plan and following the 8 Simple Rules, I learned lots of new approaches. Personally, I always thought that people needed to have 3 meals a day, plus 2 snacks in between. In fact, according to Metabolic Balance® plan, this is not the right approach at all! The old way of thinking actually keeps your insulin and blood sugar levels elevated all day long, which leads to a fat storing mode and not a fat burning mode. I wasn’t actually aiming to lose much weight, but to my surprise after just 2 weeks I lost 16lb! Most of all, I gained lots of energy, better memory and when I went clothes shopping, any outfit just fell right off me in my old size. I am a believer! “Walk the walk, talk the talk “. Now when I register my clients to do the Metabolic Balance® program, I can understand their struggles and guide my clients through all of the 4 Phases of the Metabolic Balance® plan.
As with most women of “a certain age”, my body started preventing me from getting to my weight-loss goals that were previously easy to achieve and maintain. I tried extensive exercise and diet after diet with little or no success. Then, I found out about the Metabolic Balance® program through Liisi. We often talk a lot about nutrition and healthy eating, so when she became a coach I decided to give it a try. Knowing that this program is based on your actual bloodwork results and that it is not a one-size-fits-all approach made all the difference. To my great joy and surprise, it worked! Something finally worked! In just 3 short weeks, I’m down a full pants size and wearing a pair of pants that I haven’t been able to wear, and comfortably I might add, in 3 years! My skin looks better, and I’m not feeling tired, deprived, hungry or dehydrated. I’ve been so pleased with my results that I’ve now joined Liisi in our quest to help other people reset their bodies and feel great! This is not a diet. This is a healthy lifestyle that will be easy to maintain for the rest of my life following the 8 Simple Rules laid out in the plan from day one. Weight loss is simply a side-effect. Whether you want to lose weight, gain weight or maintain your current weight and simply look and feel better with a few changes that are easy to follow, this is the plan you really want to look into further. The Metabolic Balance® nutritional program was life changing for me! For years, and I mean years, I have been trying to get my health back. My hormones, menopausal symptoms, hot flashes, blood pressure, stresses in life, were all taking their toll on my body. I had basically given up. After trying the Keto diet, staying away from carbs, doing the gluten-free diet, exercising to no end, and so on and so on, I had had enough. This new system, and proper coaching, is truly unbelievable! This whole scientific approach that is catered to my body, my bloodwork, my hormones, was the perfect fit. I did not have to go crazy with fad dieting, or any strenuous exercising. I just changed my eating habits and am eating the foods that are right for me. I eat the proper foods for me, not for my blood type but what my body requires. And I was able to shed the weight. I couldn’t believe that I could do this without putting my body through torture. This is truly a lifestyle change and the proper way of eating. I love that my body does not have to suffer in any way nor am I lacking in any nutrients. I feel great! I look like myself again. My Liiska what an amazing friend and coach. When Liiska told me about this program I was very skeptical. I’m the person that starts a diet and never follows thru. But she convinced me to try this program and I have to say that it is very straight forward and so easy to follow. The information on what foods are most beneficial for me to eat according to my bloodwork is very informative and so satisfying. I have been fighting high cholesterol and inflammation in my body and find that this diet has helped me tremendously. I FEEL great!! I LOOK great!! It has been a blessing finding Liisi and the metabolic balance program. Liisi became a trusted friend that knew exactly what I needed to succeed. Liisi’s coaching style is as unique as she is. I have had numerous coaches over the years try to help me lose weight/change my eating habits etc. but none like Liisi !! Liisi goes over and above in her caring for her clients. She asks questions not just about your food choices but how your feeling emotionally and physically. Liisi is available to me pretty much 24/7. Her knowledge about the body and digestion is so thorough that she can tell me in advance about what’s going to happen and how I’m going to feel. When I was struggling with a food choice on my plan (i.e. Goat Yogurt), she worked with me to find realistic options that would help me stick to the diet. Liisi checks in with me regularly and I feel like she is on this journey with me so I’m never alone.
I just wanted to say thank you for all your coaching on my weight loss journey in Metabolic Balance. When we talk, you have given me great suggestions on food prep, food products and recipes. I have lost 15 pounds with ease, thanks to all your words of wisdom and reassuring me that this time I will really lose the weight unlike other diet plans, this is a life style change. I have 25 pounds left to go, and I feel confident that I will continue to loose weight. I really like all the ideas you have suggested to me. After I turned 50 years old, changes started to happen to my body and mind. Weight gain, disrupted sleep, mood swings, hot flashes in the middle of winter, foggy mind and forgetfulness, bloated all the time I felt like a “sausage” in my clothes. We are a couple from Estonia who decided to join the Metabolic Balance® Program. Starting the program was quite easy. You don’t even need to meet your Metabolic Balance® Coach in person, because everything is set up via email and Zoom calls. You can live anywhere in the world and be a Metabolic Balance® client with our Coach Liisi. It took only 4 days for us to have our bloodwork analyzed and receive our unique-to-us meal plans in order to start the program. The meal plans are designed specifically according to our individual blood work results. In just two short weeks, I was able to lose 8kg or 18 pounds! And, my husband was able to lose 4kg or 9 pounds! My skin feels beautiful and smooth, and we are both sleeping really well at night. We have both have been on the program for 1 month now, and find it quite easy to follow. We don’t feel hungry and feel fulfilled. We were little hesitant to get two meal plans, thinking that we have been together for 10 years and always eating the same food. We certainly did not think that our meal plans would have so much difference! To both of our surprise, the meal plans where totally different. I was not allowed to have any bread for example, but my husband could have 4 servings. And, my food list had only a few fruits while my husband’s had so much more. My family doctor told me that I had high cholesterol and prescribed statin pills. When I told my friend about this, she introduced me to Metabolic Balance. Me and my husband met with Liisi Mrkonjic and she had us both on this metabolic balance meal plan. Within a month being on this meal plan, I lost about 7 lbs. and my husband lost about 13 to 15 lbs. My family doctor had me take another blood test and she was very impressed with the results. My cholesterol has come down and she even told me that I can stop taking my cholesterol pills. My metabolic balance journey was the best decision I have ever made. When I got put on to this diet, it took a lot of dedication and being strict with my cravings. I’m 20 years old, I had depression and mental health issues, going on this diet made me realize that simply the food that you ingest makes a huge difference in your lifestyle.
